The USA wants justice and we're hangin onto GW Bush's apron strings via good old Tony (goody shoes) Blair. No protests in London are gonna prevent G Bush from being re-elected, and that's what its about.

indeed, the war does seem inevitable, and i'm in no way anti-war -- sometimes you have to fight for what you believe.

i do not believe that a war against a nation already crippled by sanctions and bombing sorties is just.

i do think a war against iraq will fuel the hate against us 'developed' nations, fuelling terrorism, and giving current governments the excuses they need for more kneejerk legislation needed to protect our security by reducing our freedoms.

i can whine all i like about not wanting the UK to follow the USA into war ... but if enough 'ordinary' voters show up to protest then Blair may at least take note at his unpopular policy.

and it will be interesting to compare the actual experience with how it is reported in the media.

i wonder how Tony would feel if his son was in the armed forces deployed to fight iraq?

im not one for conspiracy theories but, dont know if anyone else has been reading about America and its R&D into Hydrogen, whas more interesting is there research into making into a super economy ie knocking oil out the window and hyrdrogen being the new black gold.

I know a lot of oil theories and truths are around the gulf war, but i cant help thinking maybe there just trying to give oil a bad name, in preparation for their hydrogen super ecomomy and global dominisation.

Im waiting for the news head lines "Coca - Cola sent in arm forces to rectify...." , "GE Troops sercure....", "AOL in Cambodia" yardy yardy yardy yar.

Tony Blair and George Bush know what they are doing, in ten years time Tony Blair will be the president of United states of Europe (which i dont think is a bad thing, that is united states of europe NOT tony blair in charge) and George bush will be heading up some super global dominating American company and with his friend Tony Will be aswashed with americanism.

As for this war here ? let them fight, let them eat cake.

I was in D.C. a couple weeks ago during an anti-war rally. These are a few of the things I saw:

*A family walking about, making their children carry signs. (The kids were about four years old.)

*A bunch of college kids waving signs proclaiming how the United States government will murder scores of innocent children, all while wearing their designer clothes which are produced by young children in sweat shops in Cambodia.

*Another bunch of college kids jumping on the band wagon and trying to be the new hippies.

*A bunch of old hippies pathetically attempting to recapture their youth.

If war can be avoided, it must be. But rallies and marches aren't going to do it. Well, maybe they will, but they're pretty **** *d annoying.
